Popponesset Beach Association Membership
Members of Popponesset Beach Association are defined as the "persons...who are the owners of houses erected on any land and property described in the Agreement of Association," that is, within the bounds of Popponesset. We do not sell beach memberships or temporary access to Popponesset beaches.
Members are assessed and billed annually for their dues, charges and fees. Members in good standing are those who are current on their full dues, charges and fees with a minimum look back of 3 years (assuming no change in ownership during that time). The dues amount is determined by the board of directors, dependent upon the needs of the community, and is used to cover the costs of operation and maintenance of the PBA, including but not limited to repairs, building maintenance, signage, roadwork, drainage, speed tables, security, beach maintenance, maintenance of Dean Pond, Community House activities and cost of personnel, taxes insurance, etc.
We invoice PBA members each year, usually in March, for their annual dues. We do not accept online dues payments or payment through this website.
