2022 Community House Renovation Project

The Community House was built in the 1950's and after almost 70 years was badly in need of an upgrade. An super-hero accomplishment in just 12 months took many volunteer hours, sweat equity, and generous donations resulting in an amazing renovation which will preserve our House for future years. Thank you to all of our members who helped make this dream a reality!

Winter 2012 to 2013 Storm Damage

THANK YOU TO ALL who have supplied photos for this website. The Spit has been hit hard this winter with the many storms.  Dredging and replenishment of sand and beach grass have been and continue to be needed to preserve the Spit. Save Popponesset Bay is a volunteer organization that is working to protect and replenish the Spit. They need  funds to do this. Please consider donating. Go to www.savepopponessetbay.org to learn more.
