Summary of PBA Board Meetings January 2021

Summary Points for PBA Board Meetings January 2021:
 
Connie Kickham, Security Committee, updated PBA Board on security efforts including need to re-visit policies for beach flag procedures as well as ongoing outreach to PBA rental community on beach access rules. 
 
Board discussed budget support for July 4th staffing with Mashpee PD and newly hired security company.
 
President Bob Orsi and Board members continue to review 2021 budget for February budget meeting.
 
Tim Gildea, Roads Committee, provided update on Uncle Edwards drainage.  Project completed in January 2021.
 
Kelly Spinard, House Committee updated on several Committee House issues including merchandise sales, basketball tournament, inside and outside activities for 2021.
 
Elizabeth Calder, Bearse Road, voted to PBA Board of Directors.  Welcome Beth.
 
PBA Community Virtual Meeting: PBA Board participated in community-wide virtual meeting with 53 participants.  During the meeting, the PBA Board updated homeowners on several security issues, enhancements for beach access proposed for 2021 and Community House issues.
