The PBA Board presented an online homeowner's meeting to the Popponesset Community on December 5th to present information from the Security Committee and to hear their recommendations for security for the coming season. Homeowners were encouraged to attend virtually and to bring questions and concerns. See the Summary Notes from that meeting below. Click on the highlighted text to access the notes.

I would like to propose an alternative to PBA beach access whereby every dues payer gets 6 badges for owners/guests to wear on their visible suits/shirts/shorts to get access to our beaches. this would require an attendant at each beach access to check...which could easily be a teen paid min. wage (and a summer job) to see that badges are present. The only weakness is beachgoers coming from the spit onto PBA beaches in which case you can also have a member staked at the jetty leading from the spit to PBA beaches. If homeowners need more than 6 passes, pay extra $ for each pass. I am willing to pioneer this effort. it works well in my local area. no reason why it can not in PBA. Please contact me with rationale why this can't work???
